Tour Details

The city of Arequipa is not only famous for its ashlar constructions or for the majestic Misti Volcano, but also for the natural areas it has such as the Colca Canyon and the Pillones Waterfall that we will visit on this full day tour.

It is located in the highest areas of Areuipa at more than 4 thousand meters, is a fantastic waterfall of crystal clear water.

We will also visit the Stone Forest in Imata, which are rock formations made naturally thousands of years ago.

Itinerary

Day 1Stone Forest - Pillones Waterfall

We will pick you up at the hotel to take you to our comfortable bus and travel to the Aguada Blanca Salt Reserve where we will see vicuñas, after that we will depart for Patahuasi, where you can have breakfast or buy snacks.

After breakfast we will continue our trip to the Stone Forest of Imata, which has the appearance of an enchanted forest, our guide will explain more about this place.

Our next stop will be the falls, amazing because of the formation that the erosion of the water and the climate gave it, you will be able to see a variety of flora and fauna typical of the region.

After delighting ourselves with the falls, we will enjoy a delicious lunch. As a last stop we have the stone forest of Poruña, a place formed by the erosion of water, wind and sun.
Finally we will return to the city of Arequipa, to leave you in your accommodations.
