Tour Details

The Paracas National Reserve is located in the department of Ica, it is a Protected Natural Area by the Peruvian state, it protects the marine-coastal ecosystem of Peru; as well as protects archaeological remains of the Paracas culture.

This Reserve has a total area of 335,000 hectares where more than 1,500 species of animals live, including resident and migratory birds, mammals, reptiles and fish. Highlighting the turtles, whales, sea lions, Humboldt penguins, otters, dolphins, among other species.

Itinerary

Day 1Paracas - Paracas National Reserve

We will pick you up from your hotel in the morning to transfer you to the Paracas Nature Reserve. As a first stop we will have the Interpretation Center, where we will learn more about the ecosystems of this reserve.

We will visit the beaches, cliffs and dunes of the Paracas Nature Reserve. We will also observe the Cathedral, which is a rock formation created by wind erosion.

In addition, our guide will be giving you information at all times about these ecosystems as well as information about the Paracas culture; a pre-Inca culture that inhabited these lands.

You will be able to see the flamingos and plovers that are birds that inhabit these places.

After seeing all that impressive nature, we will return to Paracas to drop you off at your hotel.
