Ica City Tour & Bermudez Jenkins Museum

The city of Ica located in the center of Peru, also known as the city of the eternal sun, due to the intense heat that invades its streets throughout the year. It presents a territory where most of it is desert. Advanced cultures such as Paracas, Nazca and Chincha developed in its coastal valleys. It also stands out for its great wine production and agro-export.

Among the different tourist attractions that are the Plaza de Armas, which is the oldest architectural structure in the city. Around this square important buildings are located, such as the Cathedral of Ica, which is a construction dating from the eighteenth century, which is being remodeled due to damage it suffered in the earthquake that occurred years ago.

Another attraction that we will visit is Casa Bolivar, which is one of the few colonial mansions that has survived the constant earthquakes that have been unleashed in the place, highlighted by the beautiful stone doorway it presents.

As for the museums, this city has several museums, among which we will visit the Regional Museum of Ica, which exhibits different archaeological finds from ancient cultures that developed in this part of Peru.
