Your Cusco to Sacred Valley Tour experience begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Cusco. We shall escort you on a picturesque journey of approximately forty-five minutes to the captivating township of Chinchero. It is situated 3,762 meters (12,343 feet) above sea level. Here, you’ll witness stunning Inca ruins and beautiful colonial churches, while also learning about traditional Andean weaving.
Next, we will drive towards the agricultural terraces of Moray. This intriguing archaeological site, resembling amphitheaters, is a testament to the agricultural innovation of the Inca civilization. You will spend around 1 hour at Moray, soaking up its historical ambiance.
From Moray, we will take a 15-minute journey to the unique Maras Salt Mines. These ancient salt pans have been in operation since Inca times and offer a spectacular sight. You’ll get a chance to walk among the salt pans and understand their workings for about an hour.
